The province of Quebec has its immigration program that invites skilled workers to settle in the region. The Quebec Skilled Worker Program (QSWP) is for skilled workers who both have the intention to migrate to the province and make attributions to the economy of the province.

The Atlantic Immigration Pilot Program (AIPP) works to recruit and invite eligible candidates to the Atlantic provinces of Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, Newfoundland and Labrador, and New Brunswick. 

The program launched in 2017 by the federal government and provincial government aims to welcome over 7000 newcomers in the Atlantic region by 2021 via AIPP.
