The New Tech Pilot draw of British Columbia invites 95 invitations
British Columbia held a new PNP tech draw inviting 97 immigrants for permanent residency.
The British Columbia Provincial Nomine Program (BC PNP) invited 95 Express Entry and Skills Immigration candidates on March 9, 2021.
The selected candidates from the International Graduate and Skilled Worker stream with a minimum score of 80.
Candidates who are invited have 30 calendar days to fill and submit the application, respectively.
Express Entry Program invites applicants for immigration under three streams– Skilled Worker program, Skilled Trades Program, and Canadian Experience Class.
Having a profile in the Express Entry and with a provincial nomination, they obtain additional 600 points to the total CRS score, making it potent to guarantee invitation to apply for the subsequent Express Entry draw.
The applicants are ranked on different characteristics such as age, employment, language ability in English or French, etc.
Canada invites immigrants to apply for permanent resident through the future Express Entry draws.
The Tech Pilot Program spring in May 2017 to invite in-demand tech workers and skilled candidates to support the tech sector’s growth in the province.
Candidates have to register in the online portal of the B.C. provincial stream and have a valid job offer of at least 12 months in one of the 24 eligible occupations in the province.
Applicants of Skills Immigration or Express Entry BC must create a profile and register under the Skills Immigration Registration System. After a precise evaluation, they review scores on different factors determining the invitation to apply for the next draw.
The pilot draws are held every week.
The total number of invitations issued in 2021 is 1926.
