Saskatchewan PNP Draw Issues 502 Invitations
Saskatchewan issued invitations for permanent residency to 502 immigrants.
The SINP-Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program issued a round of invitations on January 21 by inviting 502 immigrants for a provincial nomination.
Saskatchewan conducted a new Expression of Interest, it invited candidates from the International Skilled Worker under two streams- Express Entry, and Occupations In-Demand.
Out of the total invitations issued, 189 went to Express Entry Program with a SINP score of 77 points. While the rest 313 went to Occupations in-demand with a score of 77 points.
It invited candidates with work experience in one of the 79 occupations.
The SINP selects candidates, who fulfil the eligibility criteria to settle in the province. Candidates are given a score out of 100, according to the International Skilled Worker Points Assessment Grid.
Express Entry Program manages three main stares for permanent residency- – Skilled Worker Program, Skilled Trades Program, and Canadian Experience Class.
Candidates scoring the highest rank receive an Invitation to Apply from the RCC. Express Entry profile candidates with a provincial nomination receive additional 600 points.
Candidates who do not have a profile in the federal Express Entry come under the Occupations in-Demand category.
