Saskatchewan Invites 551 In New PNP Draw

A new Saskatchewan PNP draw invited Express Entry and Occupations In-Demand candidates Issued 551 Invitations.

A new round of PNP draw in Saskatchewan was held on November 19.

The SINP- Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program issues 551 invitations to candidates from the International Skilled Worker- the two subcategories are the Express Entry Program and Occupations in-demand. They sent to those candidates who have work experience.

Candidates have to submit the Expression of Interest (EOI) from both sub-categories with the SINP. In every draw, each category has a slightly different score than the previous.

The Express Entry candidates of 214 are to qualify for an EOI score of at least 78 to get invited. This is not the CRS- Comprehensive Ranking System cutoff but a provincial requirement. Candidates had ECA and work experience in one of the 56 occupations.

Occupations-in-demand invited 337 applicants with ECA- Educational Credential Assessment needed. A total of 75 occupations were included in the category.

The Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program selects applicants that are skilled, dedicated, and have the potential to add surplus in the labour market of the province. They need to be genuine and show commitment to building a life in Saskatchewan by showing proof such as educational qualification, work experience, language ability, and a connection to the province.

Candidates are assessed on five human capital factors by SINP out of 100 on the International Skilled Worker Points Assessment Grid. The one who scores the highest rank is invited to apply for the provincial nomination from Saskatchewan.

Those candidates who have a profile in the Express Entry Pool are issued 214 invitations from Saskatchewan.

The Express Entry program has three main economic immigrant pathways– Federal Skilled worker Program, Federal Skilled Trades Program, and Canadian Experience Class.

An Express Entry Pool Candidates fill an EOI for Saskatchewan and score 78 in the SINP`s Point Assessment grid, then they are invited in the next draw.

Applicants of Express Entry who receive a provincial nomination receive a 600 CRS (Comprehensive Ranking System) score. The scores awarded to ensure that the applicant will receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for permanent residence. If the Express Entry candidates score 470, they are invited to the next draw.

The same goes for PNP that is aligned with Express Entry.

Candidates, who do not have a profile in Express Entry come under the Occupation in-demand, this program is for those who have work experience and practising knowledge in the regional labour need of Saskatchewan.

In a total of Occupation in-demand, 337 candidates were invited to apply for the provincial nomination and need a score of 80 to be chosen.
