Saskatchewan invites 418 in the PNP draw
The province of Saskatchewan invites the latest immigrants for provincial nomination.
The Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) held a new Provincial Nominee Program draw on March 24, inviting candidates from the International Skilled Worker category.
The nominations respectively went to 183 through the Express Entry and 235 through the Occupations In-Demand sub-categories.An Expression of Interest (EOI) score of at least 70 and ECA- Educational Credential Assessment to demonstrate the education as per the Canadian education standard is needed for both streams.
Apart from that, they also require to need work experience in one of the 78 eligible occupations such as medical laboratory technicians, social workers and educational counselors, etc.
Both Express Entry and Occupations In-Demand streams need to create an EOI profile from the Saskatchewan online portal for permanent residency.
Applicants with a profile in the Express Entry pool and with a provincial nomination receive additional 600 points adding to their CRS scores. The new score proving to be effective for the subsequent draw of Express Entry will provide permanent residency.
Those applicants not welcomed in the Express Entry come under the shelter of Occupations in-Demand skills. It targets applicants who have high skilled workers with experience in an in-demand occupation.
The EOI system of Saskatchewan allows the nomination of reputed and skilled candidates. They are assessed on different functions such as language ability, years of work experience, etc. They are ranked out of 100 points based on the International skilled Worker Skills Assessment Grid for permanent residency.
