Saskatchewan invites 248 Provincial Nominee Program candidates

The new draw invites candidates from Saskatchewan for permanent residency. 

On March 11, 2021, Saskatchewan conducted a new Provincial Nominee Program draw inviting 248 candidates. 

The Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program invited International Skilled Workers candidates. 

Of the total invited candidates, 72 went to the Express Entry and, the rest, 176, may be eligible for the Occupations in-demand. 

The principal applicant need an Expression of Interest (EOI) score of at least 71 to be invited. They also require the ECA- Educational Credential Assessment to authenticate the qualifications as per the Canadian standards. 

Candidates need to have a job offer in one of the 70 in-demand occupations listed. Some of them are agents and offices, educational counselors, or service workers, etc. 

Occupations- In-Demand category is for applicants who do not have an Express Entry profile. Those skilled workers having years of experience in Saskatchewan without a job-offer is termed under this sub-category. 

Applicants need to create an EOI profile through the SINP`s online stream. The EOI system allows the province to select candidates who thrive to increase the growth of Saskatchewan. 

Candidates are given a score out of 100 based on the SINP`s International Skilled Worker Points Assessment Grid. 

Express Entry System is an enhanced PNP. 

Express Entry candidates must create an EOI profile for Saskatchewan to be considered for an invitation to apply. 

Candidates having an Express Entry profile with a provincial nomination receive additional 600 points towards the total CRS scores. It guarantees that you will receive an invitation to apply in the next subsequent Express Entry draw. 

Saskatchewan has invited a total of 1975 candidates for permanent residency in 2021.
