Manitoba invites 243 in new PNP draw
A total of 1,870 immigrants has been invited till now in 2021 to apply for a provincial nomination for permanent residency.
Manitoba invited 243 Canadian immigration candidates on April 8, 2021. The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program issued nominations to residents for the final application of permanent residents.
Manitoba invites immigrants through one of its regular streams- International Graduate, Skilled Workers Overseas, and Skilled Workers in Manitoba.
The Skilled Workers candidates require an Expression of Interest profile to be submitted.
The results from the latest draw-
- Skilled Workers in Manitoba— 208 invitations with a minimum EOI score of 456;
- Skilled Workers Overseas— 14 invitations with a minimum EOI score of 708; and
- International Education Stream— 21 invitations with no EOI score requirement.
Out of the total, 15 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) went to Express Entry candidates.
Manitoba Immigration Program-
Canadian provinces cannot provide status of permanent residency, but they help by issuing the provincial nomination.
The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program is the immigrant pathways of the province to invite candidates.
You need to register in an Expression of Interest that allows receiving an LAA through Skilled Workers Overseas and Skilled Workers in Manitoba.
The province gives a score out of 1,000 points on different factors.
Candidate’s overseas need to show connections to the province, years of work experience, or an invitation through one of Manitoba’s Strategic Recruitment Initiatives.
It is mandatory to have a full-time job offer from n reputed employer under the Skilled Workers in Manitoba.
The International Graduates completing their education from a provincial institution can receive an LAA under the International Education with in-demand skills.
