Manitoba Invites 206 Immigrants In Express Draw
4,086 Candidates have been issued PNP in Manitoba this year
In the latest draw of provincial nomination, Manitoba issued to invite 206 applicants for Provincial Permanent Residency for this year.
The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) sought to invite international graduates and skilled workers fewer than three streams-
- Skilled workers in Manitoba
- Skilled workers oversee
- International educational stream
The EOI- Expression of Interest is the score requirements that candidates have to qualify to receive the invitations, also known as Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs).
- Skilled workers in Manitoba – 161 LAAs with a minimum score of 375;
- Skilled workers oversee – 15 LAAs with a minimum score of 771 ;
- International educational stream – 30 LAAs with no EOI score requirement
Out of the 206 LAAs issued by the MPNP, 22 went to the Express Entry System and, they will only accept candidates who have a valid Express Entry profile, job offer in the province, and work experience in an occupation in Manitoba`s in-demand occupation list.
If an applicant scored a higher rank in the EOI but did not receive the LAAs, it could be because of the following reason-
- Language province test is no longer valid
- The applicant is invited for a strategic recruitment initiative but did not receive a valid invitation number
- The third-party language test did not have a valid test number
if the candidates face any of these reasons, they are to update their EOI with complete information and wait for the next draw of the pool.
Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program has invited candidates who have regulated occupation for the draw. But, they may refuse those candidates who are not working in the regulated occupation or may not provide proof of registered steps for employment in Manitoba.
The latest draw of 22 October saw the highest LAAs 4,068 of this year.
MANITOBA`S EXPRESS ENTRY-
Immigrants who apply under the Express Entry are ranked based on the CRS- Comprehensive Ranking system, a score point calculator that considers human capital factors such as age, qualification, work experience, language proficiency, etc. Candidates who score the highest CRS are issued to invite for Permanent Residency (PR) through regular draws of Express Entry Pool.
Candidates who receive the provincial nomination can apply for Canada permanent residency and are awarded an extra 600 CRS. They are invited to Apply (ITA) from IRCC- Immigration, Refugee, and Citizenship Canada.
MANITOBA`S EOI SYSTEM-
Immigrants who want to settle in Manitoba through the MPNP need to register an EOI and score a minimum point to receive LAA through the stream skilled worker in Manitoba and Skilled worker oversea
The candidates are ranked out of 1000s points for human capital factors (age, work proficiency, educational qualifications, etc.) under the Manitoba system.
- Both skilled workers in Manitoba and skilled workers overseas are nominated in the province so that they can support the labour needs and help improve economic growth.
Candidates, who are applying from overseas need to have a sort of connection in the province that may increase the chance of their selection.
Certain criteria must be met by the candidates, such as having a permanent full-time job offer from an employer in Manitoba.
