Express Entry invites 671 PNP candidates in new draw

Candidates with a profile in the Express Entry were invited to apply for provincial nomination.

On March 8, Canada invited 671 Express Entry candidates for permanent residency.

The minimum score for this draw is 739, which is high. It is because of the previous nomination of the PNP program candidates received 600 points for the provincial nomination. It means a candidate without the score stands to CRS 139.

It is to remind you that the score of 739 is included when candidates have created a profile in the Express Entry before February 16, 2021, 19:10:25 UTC, as per the tie-break rule.

Till now, Canada has issued 38 657 ITAs in 2021. It is a roaring number than last year invitations at the same time. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic that resulted in low immigrants, Canada is targeting o welcome fresh 401 000 newcomers by the end of 2021.

The majority of the immigrant will be coming through the Express Entry.

IRCC held an invitation round inviting 27 332 candidates. The biggest Express draw with a low CRS score of at least 75.

Today`s draw is issued after exact 22 days where CEC candidates were eligible for permanent residency.

Express Entry Program is a points-based system where candidates are awarded points on human capital factors such as age, education, work experience, language proficiency, etc.

The highest-scoring candidates receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA) through the rounds of Express Entry draw.

The IRCC selects, evaluate, and confirm the required process for immigration, and once they choose, they send a Confirmation of Permanent Residence to them.

Once the candidates receive the COPR, settle in Canada, the last steps are to apply for the PR card.

 Hypothetical example- 

Hazel is a 34-year woman with a Master’s degree and has been working as a Database Analyst for ten years. Her IELTS score exam results showed 7.5 in listening and 6.5 in the remaining three bands. She entered the Express Entry pool and gave her application some Saskatchewan via the International Skilled Worker. Her CRS score was then 360. With her profile submitted in Saskatchewan, she shortly received a provincial nomination, making the new CRS score 960.
