Express Entry: The 3rd Draw of PNP in 2021
IRCC invited Express Entry candidates, 374 with a CRS cut-off score of 741.
The latest Express Entry draw that targeted Provincial Nominee Program was conducted on January, 20.
This draw issued 374 Invitations to Apply (ITA) with a CRS score of 741.
This is the third draw after the CEC draw on January 7 with a CRS score of 461 and PNP draw on January 6 with a minimum CRS score of 813.
Both Express Entry and Provincial Nominee Program are Canada`s primary immigration applicant system for permanent residency.
Express Entry issues immigrants under three streams-
- Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP)
- Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP)
- Canadian Experience Class (CEC)
Through Express Entry, you have to create a profile. Based on human factors, you receive your CRS ranking. The Express Entry draw happens in two weeks and issues ITAs to the highest-scoring candidates.
There are provinces and territories in Canada. The province invites candidates for permanent residency. Provincial Nominee Program is to select potential and valuable immigrants to improve the local labour requirements of the area.
Express Entry – aligned PNP stream candidates obtain 600 points in their CRS score.
The total number of ITAs issued in 2020 was 108,350. It was a wonderful experience for Express Entry.
The year started on a positive note for Express Entry as it invited 4750 CEC candidates on January 7 and 250 PNP candidates on January 6.
A hypothetical example of who could be invited for the draw-
Alexis is a 32-years old, woman as a nurse. She scored CLB 7 in all four categories in her IELTS exam and has 5 years of experience from Russia. With a bachelors1degree in nursing, she received a full-time job offer in Vancouver. She was nominated via the Express Entry British Columbia (EEBC) under the Health Care Professional stream.
Her CRS score is 920 after the addition of 600 points. Alexis is eligible for today`s draw to receive an ITA.
