Express Entry Program: 4,500 ITAs Issued in a New Draw
Canada has now issued 87,350 ITAs this year
The latest Express Entry draw was on November 5.
It issued an invitation of 4,500 candidates of Express Entry with a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System CRS score of 478.
Candidates speaking French are more eligible in the CRS score points in this draw. The IRCC- Immigrants, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada have announced 25 additional points for French-speaking candidates in the language ability skills.
The IRCC holds the Express Entry draw every two weeks but, this draw was a delay due to the update on all of the affected profiles in the pool.
This is the third time where Canada issued 4,500 invitations in one draw.
Canada announced its Immigration Plan Level, where they are aiming to welcome over 400, 000 new immigrants candidate every year until 2023. 100, 000 of these immigrants will come through Express Entry System in the Federal High Skilled category.
There are capital factors such as age, work experience, language ability, etc. Candidates in these programs, as well as PNP, are given a score based on CRS.
Candidates scoring the highest score will receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for permanent residency in Canada.
In any case, there is any tie; the IRCC applies the breaking rule. Candidates scoring a 478 score or more need to submit their Express Entry profile before October 26, 2020, to receive the invitation.
The year 2020 has seen the CRS requirements score to be 470 for all program draws. The federal skilled trades Program invited applicants of the CRS requirement of 415 on August 6, whereas the previous Canadian experience Class is in 440s. The Provincial Nominee Program has the highest requirement because candidates who receive the provincial nomination are awarded 600 CRS score points. PNP is another immigrant pathway that offers Canadian permanent residency to candidates having a low CRS score.
The latest draw brings a total of 87, 350 ITAs issued in the years 2020. This year seems to be breaking the record of Express Entry as the number of ITAs issued this year is high than ever.
