What is Canada Entry Program?
Canada Entry Program is a process for skilled workers who wish to apply for a Canada Permanent Residence. It is one of the fastest and easiest ways to move to Canada. With this management system, applicants have to qualify for the eligibility score of the PR visa. With a luxurious lifestyle and wonderful opportunities for professional growth, Canada PR Program follows a systematic process for immigrants.
The following Canadian Immigration economic programs are as follows-
- Federal Skilled Workers
- Federal Skilled Trades
- Canadian Experience Class
Applicants who fulfil the eligibility criteria for the above programs have a high chance of receiving the Canada PR.
What is Canada Eligibility Criteria for Express Entry?
To qualify for the eligibility criteria, one has to score 67 points out of 100 in the assessment grid. It is based on these point candidates are considered eligible if they score well. The following factors are as follows-
- Language proficiency- 28 points
- Education qualification- 25 points
- Work experience- 15 points
- Age – 12 points
- Employment- 10 points
- Adaptability- 10 points
Once you have scored 67 points then, you can create a valid profile in the Express Entry pool, in which you will be ranked as per CRS- Comprehensive Ranking System. There are factors in CRS which you will assess such as human capital factor, skill transferability, etc.
What is the step-by-step procedure of the Express Entry process for a Canada PR visa?
Canada PR visa is are as follows-
- Eligibility criteria– If you have scored 67 points or more then you are eligible for the Express Entry pool.
- Express Entry Profile– Along with other applicants your Express Entry profile would be submitted to the pool and based on the ranking of CRS, it will be sorted out.
- ITA– The IRCC organizes and processes the regular draw of Express Entry and if you qualify for the score cut-off, then you will receive your ITA visa within 60 days.
- Canada PR application- You have to submit a Canada PR application to the IRCC along with other essential setS of documents. IRCC will take around 4-5 months to process for Canada PR status.
What is the Canada PR processing time for Express Entry?
The average time-taken for applicants through Express Entry Program processing time takes around 6 months or more. It is estimated that more than 85% of the applicants receive ITA after submitting the visa application form. The processing time does not cover up creating of the Express Entry Profile or the appointment letter from the province.
Express Entry Program Filing Fees
The following are the overview costs of immigration for Canada PR card are as follows-
For the language proficiency test- IELTS INR 14,000 ($250 in Canadian) and for WES it may cost around $220 to $ 315.
Apart from it, government fee may vary due to factors affecting – application fees CAD 815 per person.
Other fees such as medical certificate (CAD 75) and police verification (INR 500) may cost approx. per person.
You may have to show some extra funds or reports for Canada PR Program in the process that may increase the selection.
